CueCompass
CueCompass builds a practical “taste fingerprint” from what you actually finish, skip, and rewatch across movies, series, podcasts, books, and games. Instead of vague genres, it models specific drivers like pacing, darkness, humor style, plot density, romance level, and novelty tolerance. You can import history (where available), or quickly rate a handful of recent picks to bootstrap. Recommendations come with transparent “why” cards (e.g., “fast pace + cynical humor + low romance”) and adjustable sliders to steer results without retraining. The app also supports “group matching” for couples or friends by finding overlap and offering compromise picks with predicted satisfaction for each person. It’s an AI-assisted recommender, but it stays grounded with explicit controls and avoids pretending it knows you better than you do. Monetization is a subscription for cross-media matching and group features.
