CueCut
CueCut is a mobile + desktop companion that blocks distractions based on your real “attention cues,” not just schedules. It watches for early warning signals like rapid app-switching, repeated tab hopping, and short bursts of scrolling, then intervenes with a friction step you choose (temporary lock, forced pause, or a single-question intent check). Instead of pretending you’ll be disciplined forever, it assumes you’ll slip and focuses on fast recovery. You set 2–3 focus modes (Deep Work, Admin, Study) and define allowed apps/sites and emergency bypass rules. After each session, CueCut shows a short replay: what triggered the derail, how long it lasted, and one practical adjustment suggestion. It’s not a productivity “planner”; it’s a guardrail for attention when willpower fails.
