CurbScout

CurbScout is a mobile + web app that helps drivers and delivery operators find legal, usable curb space in dense areas. It combines public curb regulations (loading zones, street sweeping, permit-only, time limits) with real-time signals from users (quick check-ins, photos, and “spot taken” reports) to reduce circling and tickets. The app shows a map with confidence scores by block face, time-of-day rules, and a simple “park here now” recommendation. It’s not magic: coverage starts in a few cities and improves only where users contribute. The business model is B2B-first: fleets and local delivery companies pay for dashboards, API access, and compliance logs; consumers get a free tier with limited lookups. Success depends on data quality, so the MVP focuses on one city, a few neighborhoods, and one clear job: reduce failed stops and parking violations.
