CurbSignal
CurbSignal is a mobile + web app for rapid, street-level hazard reporting and prioritization after storms, quakes, or heat events. Residents and field crews capture geotagged photos of blocked drains, downed lines, unstable facades, flooded underpasses, and impassable sidewalks. The system auto-structures each report (location, severity, asset type, accessibility impact) and routes it into a city-facing triage board that groups duplicates, highlights hotspots, and suggests the next-best dispatch order. It’s designed to work when things are messy: offline capture, delayed sync, and simple “good enough” forms that non-experts can complete in under 30 seconds. The goal isn’t pretty dashboards—it’s shortening time-to-clearance for the most dangerous, mobility-killing issues and creating a defensible audit trail for FEMA/insurance documentation and after-action reviews.
