CurtailIQ

CurtailIQ is a web + mobile AI app for commercial and utility-scale solar operators to detect, explain, and prioritize energy losses from curtailment, clipping, inverter limits, and grid/export constraints. It ingests SCADA/inverter data plus site metadata (AC/DC ratio, interconnection limit, weather) and automatically flags when the plant could have produced more but didn’t. The app translates messy time-series into plain-English root-cause hypotheses (e.g., “export cap hit 37 times last week,” “inverter clipping concentrated on strings 4–6,” “reactive power setpoint causing derate”). It then estimates recoverable kWh and $ impact, and produces a weekly “lost revenue” report for asset managers. Be warned: accuracy depends heavily on data quality and correct site configuration; if your telemetry is incomplete, results will be noisy. This is not a magic ‘increase production’ button—it’s a decision-support tool to stop preventable losses.
