CushionCheck
CushionCheck helps people with back, tailbone, and hip discomfort figure out whether their chair and sitting habits are the real culprit. Using your phone’s camera, it guides you through a 60-second “seat setup” scan: chair height, pelvic tilt cues, desk distance, and foot support. It then gives a simple, non-medical adjustment plan (micro-movements, timed posture changes, and cushion/footrest recommendations) and tracks whether changes reduce discomfort over time. It’s not a miracle cure—most pain is multifactorial—but it can reliably fix the common, boring problems: bad chair geometry, static sitting, and poor workstation distances. The app includes a lightweight symptom diary and reminders that emphasize behavior change rather than endless logging. It also supports exporting a summary you can share with a physical therapist or clinician.
