CUSIPScout is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps individual investors screen and compare individual bonds across brokers using real, tradeable CUSIPs—not vague fund proxies. You connect your brokerage (or upload holdings/trade confirms), and the app normalizes messy bond data (call schedules, yield-to-worst, accrued interest, minimums, odd lots) into a clean comparison table. It flags “gotchas” like near-term calls, low liquidity, wide bid/ask, and misleading headline yields. An AI assistant explains why a bond’s yield is high (credit risk, call risk, liquidity) in plain English and suggests safer alternatives within your constraints (maturity range, rating floor, state tax preference). It also tracks cashflows, upcoming calls/maturities, and reinvestment needs so you don’t get surprised by sudden redemptions. This is not a trading app; it’s a decision-quality bond research layer for retail investors.
