CutCheck is a mobile and web app that helps small film crews avoid embarrassing continuity errors without needing a dedicated script supervisor on set. Directors, camera assistants, and producers can snap photos or upload stills from each setup; an AI model then compares wardrobe, props, hand positions, background elements, and lighting between takes and scenes, flagging likely mismatches in seconds. The app automatically organizes shots by scene and slate, and generates a simple continuity report that can be checked before moving on. Unlike bloated production management tools, CutCheck focuses narrowly on continuity and on-set practicality: fast capture, fast comparison, and clear alerts. It won’t magically fix bad filmmaking, but it will catch a lot of mistakes that usually only show up in the edit. This is a traditional + AI hybrid app: native mobile for set use and a web dashboard for reviewing and exporting continuity reports.
