CutLedger
CutLedger is a web app (with optional desktop companion) for managing the messy feedback-and-versions loop in video post-production. Instead of comments scattered across email, Slack, and frame.io links, it creates a single “source of truth” for every export: version history, who approved what, what changed, and what’s still blocking delivery. Editors upload review cuts, stakeholders leave timecoded notes, and producers can convert notes into a lightweight task list tied to exact timestamps. The killer feature is auditability: you can generate a clean approval log for clients (“v12 approved by X on date; changes requested on v11 were completed”). This is not a full NLE or storage replacement; it’s a coordination layer that plugs into existing workflows. Realistically, it wins by saving hours of back-and-forth and reducing costly rework from unclear notes.
