CutListPro is a mobile + web app (traditional + light AI) that converts a DIY project plan into a precise materials list you can actually buy. Users enter basic dimensions (or import a simple sketch/PDF), pick common build templates (shelving, framing, drywall patch, deck section), and the app outputs a cut list, fastener schedule, and a store-ready cart with pack-size optimization (e.g., screws sold in 50/100, studs in 8/10/12 ft). The AI component helps interpret messy notes/photos and suggests substitutions when items are out of stock, but the core logic is deterministic and transparent. It also tracks waste factors and lets users choose “min cost” vs “min trips” vs “min waste.” The goal is fewer returns, fewer mid-project runs, and fewer “I bought the wrong thing” failures.
