CutListSnap
CutListSnap is a mobile + web app for DIYers and small woodworking shops that converts rough project sketches and dimensions into a clean, buildable cut list and material plan. Users enter basic project parameters (overall size, thickness, joinery style) or upload a photo of a hand sketch; the app outputs a parts list, board-feet estimate, and an optimized sheet/board layout to reduce waste. It also generates a step-by-step build checklist with measurement callouts and prints labels for parts. This is not magic CAD: it focuses on common rectangular parts and repeatable furniture patterns (boxes, shelves, simple tables) where most people actually struggle—keeping parts consistent and not overbuying lumber. It integrates with a phone camera for quick measurement capture and produces shareable PDFs for the shop or client approvals.
