CutSwitch is a mobile + web app that finds recurring charges, flags price hikes, and guides users through canceling or downgrading subscriptions and bills. It connects to bank transactions (read-only), clusters merchants into “recurring” patterns, and shows a weekly “waste list” ranked by savings potential and cancellation difficulty. The AI assistant drafts cancellation emails, generates chat scripts for negotiating internet/phone plans, and pre-fills retention-offer comparisons so users don’t have to research. It also tracks “savings realized” by verifying that charges actually stopped, which most budgeting apps don’t do well. Realistically, this succeeds only if it’s frictionless: clear permissions, fast setup, and tangible savings in the first 7 days. Monetization is a simple subscription or a success fee on verified savings.
