CuttingCue
CuttingCue is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps home growers and small nurseries propagate plants from cuttings with repeatable, trackable protocols. Users create a “batch” for each propagation attempt (e.g., pothos nodes, rosemary cuttings, fig hardwood cuttings), log key variables (medium, humidity method, light level, temperature range, hormone use, cutting size), and set a simple schedule of reminders (mist, vent dome, check rot, pot-up). The app includes a compact protocol library that’s community-verified and region-tagged, plus a photo timeline to compare progress across batches. A lightweight AI feature reads photos to flag likely issues (mold, rot, dehydration) and suggests the next action, but it’s positioned as a helper—not a magic diagnosis. The goal is fewer dead cuttings and faster learning through structured experimentation.
