CyclePause is a mobile + web app that helps knowledge workers and athletes plan realistic rest and recovery cycles instead of relying on generic “take breaks” advice. It builds a weekly rhythm (deep work blocks, light work, training, sleep, and true off-time) and then adapts it based on what you actually do. Users log quick signals (sleep quality, soreness, focus, stress) and optionally connect wearables to detect recovery debt. The app then recommends when to push, when to deload, and when to fully rest—plus it blocks out recovery time on your calendar so it doesn’t get “stolen” by meetings. It’s not therapy, not a medical device, and it won’t pretend to fix burnout overnight. The value is consistency: a simple system that makes rest a scheduled, trackable part of performance, with clear tradeoffs and guardrails.
