DanaLedger

DanaLedger is a mobile + web app for Buddhist temples and small sanghas to manage donations (dāna), membership pledges, events, and simple bookkeeping in one place. It supports cash, bank transfer, and QR payments, automatically issues tax receipts where applicable, and produces monthly reports for boards and treasurers. The app is intentionally “small accounting,” not a full ERP: income/expense categories, restricted funds, and event-specific fundraising are the focus. A lightweight AI assistant helps categorize transactions from bank exports and drafts donor thank-you messages, but the core value is clean workflows and audit-friendly records. This is a practical operations tool for communities that are often run by volunteers and struggle with inconsistent tracking, lost receipts, and messy handoffs between treasurers.
