DarshanQueue

DarshanQueue is a mobile + web app that helps pilgrims plan temple visits during major Hindu festivals by showing realistic crowd levels and estimated darshan wait times. It combines official sources (where available), on-ground volunteer updates, and anonymized location density signals to produce a simple “Go now / Go later” view for each temple, entry gate, and time slot. Users can build an itinerary across multiple temples, get route suggestions that avoid choke points, and receive alerts when queues spike or gates change. The app also supports offline “festival mode” with cached maps and instructions, because connectivity often collapses during peak days. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for logistics, AI for crowd estimation, anomaly detection, and summarizing fast-changing advisories into plain-language updates. Monetization is via premium planning tools and B2B dashboards for tour operators and local administrations.
