DataExit

DataExit is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) that helps people submit, track, and prove completion of data deletion requests across dozens of companies. It generates jurisdiction-aware requests (GDPR/CCPA/CPRA and common global equivalents), routes them to the right privacy contact, and keeps a timeline of responses, deadlines, and escalation steps. The app doesn’t pretend it can magically erase you from the internet; it focuses on the boring, high-friction work: getting requests sent correctly, following up, and documenting non-compliance. Users get a “privacy paper trail” they can export for disputes, regulators, or internal audits. For companies that ignore requests, DataExit offers templated escalation and optional paid concierge handling. It’s realistic: many deletions take weeks, some are partial, and some vendors stall—DataExit makes that visible and manageable rather than hand-wavy.
