DataMapr

DataMapr is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that builds and maintains a living map of where personal data is collected, stored, processed, and shared across your SaaS stack and internal systems. It connects to common sources (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Zendesk, Snowflake, AWS) and continuously inventories data stores, access paths, retention signals, and third-party transfers. It then generates evidence-ready outputs: Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), data inventory, retention gaps, and DPIA/PIA starter packs. An AI layer helps classify discovered fields (e.g., email, device IDs, HR data) and drafts audit narratives, but the product is designed for human review and sign-off to avoid hallucinated compliance claims. The focus is not “perfect privacy,” but reducing the manual spreadsheet grind and keeping documentation current as systems change.
