Daystamp

Daystamp is a mobile + web journaling app that turns scattered memories into a date-anchored personal timeline. Instead of asking you to “write more,” it makes journaling easier by pulling in optional context you already have: calendar events, photos metadata, location history, and music listening (all opt-in). You write short entries tied to a specific day, then the app automatically suggests “memory stitches” (e.g., the same week last year, the day you moved, recurring patterns) to help you reflect without doom-scrolling old posts. It supports private, end-to-end encrypted journals, quick voice-to-text capture, and a “memory audit” view that highlights gaps and life phases without forcing you to share. It’s an AI-assisted app (summaries, prompts, clustering), but the core value works even if you disable AI entirely.
