DealGauge helps people make big-ticket decisions (car, home remodel, solar, HVAC, wedding, tuition, major travel) without getting manipulated by sales tactics or vague “monthly payment” math. It ingests quotes, financing offers, and contracts (PDF/photo/email), then normalizes them into apples-to-apples totals: true all-in cost, fees, interest, maintenance, depreciation, and realistic resale value. It flags common traps (balloon payments, teaser rates, add-on bundles, extended warranties, inflated dealer fees) and provides a “walk-away price” plus a negotiation script tailored to the exact quote. It also shows opportunity cost: what the same money likely becomes if invested, and how the purchase impacts cash runway and emergency fund. This is a mobile + web AI app: mobile for scanning and on-the-spot negotiation, web for deeper scenario planning and document review.
