DealGauge is a mobile + web AI-assisted negotiation companion for car buyers and private-party sellers. You enter the VIN (or plate), location, mileage, trim, condition notes, and deal context (dealer vs private, trade-in, financing, timeline). The app pulls comparable listings and recent sale signals, then generates a realistic target price range, a walk-away number, and a step-by-step negotiation script tailored to the other side’s likely tactics. It also flags common fee traps (doc fees, add-ons, “market adjustments”) and suggests counteroffers with short, copy-paste messages. For sellers, it recommends a listing price and a concession plan (e.g., when to drop price, what to offer instead of discounting). It’s not magic: it won’t “force” a better deal, but it will stop most people from negotiating blind.
