Users build a watchlist from supported retailers, and the app shows a clean 180-day price history, stock status, and a “discount integrity” score that flags inflated MSRP, coupon-gated pricing, and frequent price yo-yoing. It also lets users upload email receipts to automatically match purchases to later price drops and return windows, so they can request price adjustments where policies allow. The MVP avoids trying to cover every store on day one; it starts with a tight set of high-volume categories (electronics, home, baby) and a handful of retailers with stable product identifiers. Monetization is affiliate links plus a small premium tier for deeper history, more alerts, and receipt-based price protection workflows.
