DealProof is a mobile + web app that turns a dealership visit into a documented, auditable transaction. Shoppers create a deal room for a specific VIN, then capture offers, fees, add-ons, trade-in numbers, and financing terms via photo scan or direct entry. The app auto-normalizes line items (doc fee, protection packages, warranties) into an apples-to-apples “out-the-door” view and flags common bait-and-switch patterns (missing rebates, conditional discounts, payment packing). It generates a shareable summary link the dealer can confirm, plus a “what changed” timeline if numbers move. It’s not magic: it won’t force honesty, but it makes last-minute surprises harder to pull off and easier to walk away from. Optional AI helps extract numbers from worksheets and contracts and explains terms in plain language.
