DealShield is a mobile + web app that audits car loan and lease offers using the actual contract numbers, not marketing quotes. Users upload a photo/PDF of the buyer’s order, lease worksheet, or retail installment contract; the app extracts key fields (APR, money factor, residual, fees, add-ons, term, mileage, rebates) and rebuilds the deal to show the true effective rate and total cost. It flags common traps like packed payments, inflated money factors, hidden add-ons, negative equity roll-ins, and mismatched fees. It then generates a one-page “counter sheet” with specific, realistic asks (remove X add-on, cap doc fee to Y, correct MF to Z) and a script to use with the finance manager. This is not a magic “get 0%” app—most savings come from catching junk fees and bad math, which is exactly what shoppers miss under time pressure.
