DealThesis

DealThesis is a web app (with optional desktop export) that helps corporate strategy and corp dev teams standardize how they evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and divestitures. Instead of scattered slides and inconsistent assumptions, it guides users through a structured “deal thesis” workflow: strategic rationale, synergy logic, integration risks, competitive response, and kill-criteria. It pulls in internal documents and market notes, then uses AI to draft a first-pass thesis, highlight missing evidence, and flag contradictions (e.g., synergy claims without cost baselines). The output is a clean, board-ready memo and a consistent scoring rubric that makes decisions auditable. This is not a magic decision-maker; it’s a disciplined process tool that reduces rework, speeds alignment, and creates an institutional memory of why deals were approved or rejected.
