DebateMirror

DebateMirror is an AI-assisted web + mobile app that helps people rehearse arguments and improve rhetorical clarity before high-stakes conversations. You paste a draft (email, speech, debate prep, negotiation points) or record a short voice note. The app simulates a skeptical audience, generates the strongest counterarguments, and flags common persuasion failures: vague claims, missing warrants, weak evidence, emotional overreach, and logical fallacies. It then suggests tighter phrasing, better structure (hook, claim, reasons, evidence, concession, close), and audience-specific rewrites (boss, customer, committee, hostile crowd). A “Reality Check” score explains what would actually convince a neutral listener versus what just sounds smart. It also includes timed drills: 60-second opening, cross-exam responses, and steelman practice. The goal isn’t to win internet fights; it’s to communicate persuasively under pressure.
