DebrisBrief
DebrisBrief is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns raw space-debris and conjunction data into plain-language, decision-ready briefings for organizations that don’t have an astrodynamics team. Users pick assets and locations that matter—satellites (via NORAD IDs), launch windows, ground stations, aviation corridors, or critical facilities—and receive concise risk summaries: what objects are relevant, confidence levels, time-to-event, and what actions are actually available (monitor, delay, notify insurer, request screening, etc.). It pulls from public catalogs (e.g., CelesTrak/Space-Track where permitted) and overlays uncertainty, historical false-alarm rates, and “data freshness” warnings so users don’t overreact to noisy predictions. The product is honest about limits: it won’t replace professional screening, but it will reduce confusion, speed internal communication, and create an auditable trail of risk decisions.
