DebtCovenant

DebtCovenant is a web app (with optional desktop-friendly export tooling) that helps analysts and public finance teams track, compare, and stress-test sovereign and municipal debt obligations at the instrument level. It ingests bond prospectuses, offering circulars, and official statements, then extracts key terms (maturity, call features, currency, indexation, governing law, covenants, sinks, guarantees) into a searchable registry. Users can build a debt calendar, flag refinancing cliffs, and run scenario snapshots (rate shocks, FX moves, inflation spikes) to see which instruments drive risk. This is an AI-assisted app: AI is used for document parsing and term extraction, but all outputs are auditable with citations back to source pages. The product is realistic because it focuses on a narrow, high-value workflow: turning messy PDFs into a clean, queryable debt terms database and alerts.
