DecideDeck

DecideDeck is a web app (with a lightweight Slack/Teams integration) that forces teams to run key decisions through a short, structured “bias check” before approval. Users create a decision card (hire, roadmap, pricing, incident response), attach context, and answer a few fast prompts designed to surface common heuristics and biases (anchoring, confirmation bias, availability, sunk cost, overconfidence). The app then generates a one-page decision brief: assumptions, disconfirming evidence to seek, pre-mortem risks, and a recommended next step (decide, delay, run experiment). It’s not therapy and it won’t magically make people rational; it’s a practical workflow tool that makes bias-reduction repeatable and auditable. The value is in consistency: teams build a decision log, learn which biases recur, and reduce expensive “we all felt it was right” mistakes over time.
