DeductLog is a mobile + web app that helps W-2 employees and side-giggers track tax deductions and documents continuously, then export a clean, audit-friendly package at filing time. Instead of trying to “do your taxes,” it focuses on the messy part people actually fail at: remembering expenses, mileage, home office details, and which receipt matches which category. Users snap receipts, forward email invoices, and connect bank/credit cards to auto-suggest deductible transactions. At year-end, the app produces a CPA-ready summary and exports to common tax software via standardized CSV/PDF bundles. It also flags likely missed deductions and common red flags (duplicate receipts, personal vs business mixing) without pretending to replace a full tax preparer. This is an AI + traditional app: AI assists categorization and anomaly detection, while rules and user confirmation keep it conservative and compliant.
