DedupePilot is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that continuously monitors your Master Patient Index for duplicate and overlay risk, then routes the right work to the right people. It ingests ADT/HL7 v2 and FHIR Patient feeds, scores potential matches using deterministic rules plus an AI-assisted similarity model, and presents an auditable work queue for HIM and registration leads. The product focuses on operational reality: messy demographics, nicknames, transposed digits, missing SSNs, and multi-facility MRNs. It provides configurable thresholds, facility-specific rules, and a “why matched” explanation so staff can trust the suggestions. It also tracks downstream impact (claims denials, lab result misroutes, rework hours) to quantify ROI. This is not a magic ‘auto-merge everything’ tool; it’s a pragmatic risk-reduction and throughput system that helps teams close the loop faster with fewer mistakes.
