DeEscalate

DeEscalate is a mobile + web app that helps teachers handle student conflict in the moment and document it afterward without turning into hours of paperwork. During an incident, a one-tap “scenario picker” (verbal fight, refusal, bullying, disruption) launches a 60–120 second guided script with prompts, tone reminders, and optional timers for cool-down and separation. After class, the app converts quick taps and short notes into a clean incident summary aligned to common school behavior frameworks, with follow-up tasks (restorative chat, parent contact, counselor referral) and reminders. An admin view aggregates anonymized patterns by time, location, and trigger so schools can spot hotspots and adjust supervision. It’s realistic: it won’t magically fix behavior, but it will reduce inconsistency, improve documentation quality, and save teachers time when emotions are high.
