DefectPulse is a web + mobile QA app that helps manufacturers and operations teams capture defects at the source and close the loop with real corrective actions. Operators log a defect in seconds (photo, part/lot, station, shift), and the system routes it to the right owner with due dates and escalation. The AI layer auto-suggests likely root-cause categories, flags repeat patterns, and drafts a simple 8D/CAPA outline from the evidence—without pretending to “solve” quality by itself. Dashboards show defect Pareto, recurrence rate, and time-to-containment by line, supplier, or product. The goal is not another bloated QMS; it’s a lightweight defect-to-action workflow that works on the floor, survives spotty connectivity, and produces audit-ready history when needed. Integrations push key events to Slack/Teams and sync basic master data from ERP/MES.
