DemandLedger

DemandLedger is a web app (with optional desktop CSV uploader) that turns demand forecasting into an auditable workflow instead of a black box. It ingests sales/orders, inventory, and calendar events, then produces baseline forecasts plus scenario overlays (price changes, promotions, stockouts, holidays). Every forecast is stored as a versioned “ledger entry” with assumptions, data snapshots, and accuracy backtests, so teams can see what changed and why. It’s built for companies stuck between spreadsheets and heavyweight enterprise planning suites: you get fast setup, clear accuracy metrics (MAPE/WAPE/bias), and simple approvals for forecast overrides. It includes lightweight connectors for Shopify, Amazon Seller Central exports, and common ERPs via flat files, because most mid-market teams don’t have clean APIs. The goal is not perfect prediction; it’s reducing costly forecast whiplash, finger-pointing, and month-end surprises.
