DemandPilot

DemandPilot is a web + mobile app for small and mid-sized commercial buildings to reduce electricity bills by managing peak demand. It connects to existing utility interval data (Green Button where available) and common building systems (smart thermostats, EV chargers, battery inverters if present) to forecast tomorrow’s peak windows and recommend simple, low-risk actions (pre-cool, stagger charging, shift noncritical loads). It also tracks demand charges, flags tariff plan mismatches, and produces a monthly “savings proof” report for finance. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and billing logic, with AI used for load forecasting, anomaly detection, and generating plain-English action plans. The MVP intentionally avoids deep, bespoke BMS projects; it focuses on the 80/20 of interval data + a few controllable devices, because that’s where most SMBs can actually implement changes.
