DepotPulse is a mobile + web app that predicts bus reliability before you waste time waiting. Instead of only showing scheduled times, it scores each route/trip in real time using signals like vehicle telemetry (when available), historical on-time performance, recent trip cancellations, headway irregularity, and weather/traffic context. Riders see a simple “confidence meter” for the next arrivals, plus alerts when a route is melting down so they can switch lines, leave earlier, or choose another mode. Transit agencies and operators get a lightweight dashboard that highlights chronic reliability hotspots (specific blocks, drivers’ relief points, terminals) and quantifies missed trips and bunching. The value is blunt: fewer missed connections for riders, and clearer accountability + faster triage for agencies. If you can’t access real-time feeds, it still works using historical patterns and rider reports, but accuracy will be lower.
