DERPermit

DERPermit is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps distributed generation developers and installers assemble, validate, and track interconnection and permitting packages for utilities and AHJs. It centralizes site data, single-line diagrams, equipment spec sheets, protection settings, and required forms, then runs rule-based checks to catch common rejection reasons (missing signatures, mismatched inverter ratings, outdated templates, incorrect relay settings). It provides a utility/AHJ-specific checklist library, version control, and a submission timeline so teams can see exactly what’s pending and who owes what. This is not a magic “approval button”—utilities still decide—but it reduces avoidable rework and email chaos. The product is a traditional app with AI-assisted document extraction and form autofill (optional), focused on speed and auditability rather than flashy forecasting.
