DeskDrift
DeskDrift is a desktop + web productivity app that measures real context switching (tabs, apps, notifications, meeting overlap) and turns it into simple, actionable “drift alerts.” Instead of generic focus timers, it builds a private baseline of your work patterns and flags the specific moments you derail: Slack spirals, tab pinball, calendar fragmentation, and after-meeting task loss. It generates a daily 3-item recovery plan: what to finish, what to defer, and what to block time for—based on what you actually touched, not what you intended. Teams can opt into aggregated, non-spy dashboards that show systemic causes of drift (meeting load, interrupt hotspots) without exposing individual content. It integrates with Google Calendar/Outlook and Slack/Teams to recommend lightweight changes like meeting buffers, notification quiet windows, and “single-thread” work blocks. It’s realistic: it won’t magically make people disciplined, but it can make distractions visible and fixable.
