DeskProof
DeskProof is a web + desktop app that gives teams a lightweight, privacy-first way to verify remote work happened without invasive screen recording or always-on webcams. It runs a small desktop agent that logs high-level activity signals (app focus changes, keyboard/mouse bursts, meeting attendance, and commit/ticket events) and turns them into a daily “work receipt” employees can review and edit before sharing. Managers get trend dashboards (not minute-by-minute spying) that highlight blockers, context switching overload, and unplanned meeting creep. The goal is to reduce distrust and pointless status meetings by replacing them with auditable, employee-controlled summaries. It integrates with Slack, Google Calendar, Jira, and GitHub to connect outcomes to time spent. This is an AI + traditional app: AI drafts the daily receipt and flags anomalies, but humans approve what’s shared.
