DeskPulse

DeskPulse is a web app (with optional desktop tray) that turns a “virtual office” into lightweight, auditable proof of collaboration. Instead of always-on video rooms, it captures work signals teams already produce—calendar events, meeting attendance, Slack/Teams interactions, GitHub/Jira activity—and converts them into a daily “Office Pulse” for each team: who collaborated, what shipped, blockers, and where time went at a high level. It’s designed for managers who need accountability and for employees who hate spyware. Users can add short check-ins, tag focus blocks, and attach outcomes (PRs, tickets, docs) to a day. The system generates a shareable weekly recap for leadership and a personal “work log” employees can reuse for performance reviews. It’s not a virtual world; it’s a compliance-friendly, low-friction layer that makes remote work legible without micromanagement.
