DeskRelief

DeskRelief is a mobile + desktop app that reduces everyday desk-related aches by turning your calendar and computer activity into tiny, timed movement prompts. Instead of generic “stand up” reminders, it recommends 1–3 micro-movements (neck, wrists, hips, eyes) based on what you’ve been doing: long typing, back-to-back meetings, or prolonged mouse use. The app uses your phone camera or laptop webcam optionally to check form for 10–20 seconds and give simple corrections (e.g., “raise monitor,” “relax shoulders,” “widen stance”). It tracks streaks, pain hotspots, and which prompts actually correlate with reduced discomfort. For teams, it offers lightweight admin analytics (anonymous, aggregated) to support ergonomic programs without becoming creepy surveillance. This is not physical therapy; it’s practical habit scaffolding for people who won’t do 30-minute workouts but will do 90 seconds repeatedly.
