DetourProof is a mobile + web navigation companion focused on one thing: preventing “surprise” dead-ends from construction, events, gates, and private-road restrictions. It aggregates official closure feeds (city DOTs, event permits), crowdsourced reports with photo proof, and lightweight partner data from fleets to maintain a high-confidence closure layer. Users get turn-by-turn routing via a standard map provider, but DetourProof overlays a “closure confidence score” and proactively reroutes before you commit to a blocked segment. For commuters it reduces wasted time; for delivery drivers it reduces failed stops and late arrivals. The app is realistic about coverage: it starts with a few metro areas where public data is strong and expands city-by-city. Monetization is freemium for consumers and subscription for small fleets needing reliability analytics and closure reporting tools.
