DeviceTruce is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that finds and fixes smart-home “conflicts” that make automations unreliable: duplicate triggers, competing schedules, overlapping geofences, and devices that constantly flip states (e.g., thermostat vs. smart vents, motion lights vs. sunrise routines). It connects to major ecosystems (Home Assistant, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings) and builds a unified timeline of events so users can see what happened, in what order, and which rule caused it. The app then suggests safe changes like adding cooldowns, priority rules, or consolidating automations, and can apply fixes with user approval. It also monitors health signals (missed triggers, device offline patterns) and alerts only when a conflict is likely to cause real annoyance (lights waking you up, HVAC short-cycling). The goal is fewer “why did it do that?” moments, not more dashboards.
