DialProof is a mobile + web AI-assisted authentication and due-diligence companion for dress watch buyers. You upload a seller’s photos (or take your own), and the app runs structured checks: dial printing alignment, handset proportions, case finishing cues, reference-to-configuration matching, and red-flag patterns common to Frankenwatches and refinished dials. It also generates a “questions to ask the seller” checklist, tracks serial/reference data you’ve seen, and stores a clean audit trail for insurance or resale. Realistically, it won’t replace a watchmaker’s inspection; it’s a pre-purchase filter to reduce expensive mistakes when buying online or from smaller dealers. Monetization is subscription for enthusiasts plus per-report fees for higher-volume buyers, with optional paid human review partners for edge cases.
