DielineFit

DielineFit is a web app (with optional desktop plugin) that validates packaging artwork against dielines and manufacturing constraints before files go to a printer. Users upload a dieline (PDF/DXF) and final art (AI/PDF), select a packaging type (folding carton, label, pouch, corrugate), and get a clear pass/fail report: bleed and safe-area violations, mis-registered cut/crease lines, barcode quiet-zone issues, minimum type/line thickness, ink coverage warnings, and spot-color naming errors. It also generates a printer-ready preflight package with standardized layers, naming, and a checklist that can be shared with vendors. This is not a “design tool”; it’s a QA gate that reduces costly reprints, delays, and back-and-forth emails. The app focuses on practical rulesets and exports evidence (annotated proofs) so teams can resolve disputes quickly and keep launches on schedule.
