DigPermit

DigPermit is a mobile + web app for archaeology field directors and CRM/compliance teams to manage permits, conditions, and required documentation in one place. It replaces scattered PDFs, email threads, and inconsistent field notes with structured checklists tied to each permit, site, trench, and date. The mobile app works offline at remote sites and syncs when connectivity returns. It generates audit-ready deliverables (daily logs, photo registers, context sheets, chain-of-custody summaries) and flags upcoming deadlines, missing signatures, and condition breaches before they become expensive problems. This is not a glamorous “discover history” app; it’s operational plumbing that reduces delays, fines, and client disputes. The product lives or dies on being faster than spreadsheets and flexible enough to match different regional compliance regimes without heavy setup.
