DinnerPact

DinnerPact is a mobile + web app that helps families agree on weeknight meals without endless debating. Each household member sets simple preferences (likes, allergies, “never again” foods), then the app runs a quick weekly “meal vote” where everyone swipes yes/no on a short, realistic list based on time, budget, and what’s already at home. It outputs a 5–7 day plan with a consolidated grocery list and optional store pickup links. The AI component is limited and practical: it suggests substitutions when an ingredient is missing, and it can generate a simplified recipe card from a link or photo. It also tracks “fairness” so one person’s preferences don’t dominate every week. This isn’t a social recipe network; it’s a household decision tool designed for busy parents who just want dinner settled quickly.
