DishDoctor

DishDoctor is a mobile + web app that helps satellite internet users diagnose performance problems without guessing. It guides you through a quick, structured check: local Wi‑Fi vs. satellite link, obstruction likelihood, cable/power issues, router placement, and congestion/time-of-day patterns. The app collects lightweight device metrics (latency, jitter, packet loss, DNS time) and optionally pulls modem/router stats via supported integrations or manual entry. It then generates a plain-English “probable causes” report and a prioritized fix list (move router, change channel, schedule heavy uploads, check dish view, replace cable, contact ISP with specific evidence). It also produces a shareable support bundle (timestamps, graphs, tests) so users can escalate issues faster. This is not magic: it won’t fix a bad satellite cell, but it will stop users wasting hours on the wrong fixes and reduce pointless support calls.
