DishReceipt
DishReceipt is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) for restaurant reviews that require proof of purchase. Users upload a receipt photo or connect a card/email receipt, and the app verifies the visit, then prompts a structured review: dish-level ratings, wait time, portion size, and value. Reviews are weighted by verified visits and recency, reducing fake hype and revenge reviews. Restaurants can claim profiles to respond, flag issues, and see anonymized analytics on what dishes are actually driving complaints or repeat orders. This is an AI + traditional app: AI extracts items and prices from receipts, normalizes dish names, and detects suspicious review patterns. The goal is not to replace Yelp; it’s to be the “trust layer” when you want reviews that reflect real purchases and real dishes, not influencer noise.
