DiveBrief is a mobile app (iOS/Android) plus a lightweight web dashboard for dive shops that generates clear, location-specific dive briefings and risk checks in under two minutes. Divers select a site (or drop a pin), planned depth/time, gas, experience level, and conditions; the app pulls tides/currents, swell, wind, visibility reports, marine alerts, and recent diver logs to produce a concise briefing: entry/exit, navigation cues, hazards, turn pressure, ascent plan, and “don’t-do-this” warnings. It also includes a pre-dive checklist, buddy confirmation, and an emergency card with local chamber/EMS numbers and GPS coordinates. This is not a replacement for training; it’s a practical planning tool that reduces preventable mistakes and helps shops standardize briefings. Monetization: freemium for divers, paid “Shop” tier for branded briefings and team management.
